Mongolian Visa Information
Citizens of Hong Kong (14 days), Israel (30 days), Kazakhstan (90 days), Malaysia (1 month), Philippines (21 days) and Singapore (14 days) holding all types of passports do not require entry visa for Mongolia.Citizens Bulgaria, Czech, Hungary, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, China, Laos, DPRK, Yugoslavia, Cuba, United Kingdom holding diplomatic and official passports do not require entry visa to Mongolia. Please note that restriction period for entry without visa may vary for countries.
The following materials are required to obtain the Mongolian visa:
- Passport with a validity date at least six months beyond the end of the applications intended period of stay in Mongolia.
- Completed visa Application Form for non-tourists with one passport size photo.
- Completed visa Application Form for Tourists with one passport size photo.
- Visa fee.
- Transit visa processing requires visa for next destination, copy of onward ticket.
Ulan-Ude, RUSSIA
In addition one is required to have a valid Mongolian visa in order to transit via Ulaanbaatar to Ulan-Ude. This requirement is in place as there is no transit area at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Also, for a round trip Ulan-Ude ticket, a Mongolian double or a multiple entry visa is required.
